I came to this place, an enchanting place, at least to me for me at such a time as this.

Searching for the truth, my truth that my Father has placed in me. The truth that will awaken the sleeping giant He created me to be. A mover and shaker in the Kingdom of God.

Moving in and out of places known and unknown. Shaking awake the sleepers. Sounding the alarm that now is the time to join the ranks of the army of God. Time to know where you will spend eternity.

There’s plenty to do. Come get on board. To be a part of the new day dawning with a heart filled with joy as you look forward, forgetting the past that has held you captive far too long.

Come join, come join dear ones to experience a place you’ve only dreamed of.

Today is my birthday and the first thought that crossed my mind was to give my Good Good Father my appreciation for the life He has given me.

Good morning Father

This is the day that you have made

I will rejoice and be glad in it

This is the day July 19 you planned

For my entrance into the earth

At 2:18 am you hit the start button

For me to begin on the journey

Of my purpose and destiny

Sometimes it hasn’t been easy

But you’ve been here for me

To get me back to your path for me

You knew there would be stubborn times

That I would be disobedient

And do my own thing

You’d let me with a watchful eye

You were there to pick me up

Dust me off and love on me

When my stubborn actions

Got me in trouble

To let me know you’ve still got me covered

You’ve been and still are a Good, Good Father

You are true to your word

You never leave me nor forsake me

You take such good care of me

You said I am bound to be blessed

You heap blessings upon me daily

You shower me with gifts and surprises

That turns me into Daddy’s giggly, giddy little girl

I thank and praise you for letting me

End one year and start another with great

Expectations of what you want me to do for you

I do and always will love you

Need you and trust you with

Every beat of my heart

I honor and love you for being my Good Father

What’s Going On

Today I went to the Post Office to purchase postage stamps. As always I was asked which stamps I wanted. I looked at the samples and was surprised to see one of my favorite entertainers from times past-Marvin Gaye.

I remember not too long before his life was taken I won tickets to see him in concert through a radio station give away. My seats were wonderful. There were seats in front of me blocking my view. I could actually see what was going on. He gave an awesome performance that evening. It was a real treat for me.

A to Z 2015 Blog Challenge – Green

I’m sitting at my desk in front of the window with my eyes open. I realized I wasn’t seeing what I was looking at.

Now that I am seeing, I see green everywhere. The grass, bushes, and trees. The tree and bushes in front of the window are filling up with new leaves. By the end of the week I won’t be able to see across the street. I opened the door to take it all in. Very refreshing.

I have more green grass now than I’ve had in the six years I’ve live here. My Iris’s usually don’t have blooms—just greenery. This year they are full of buds and blooms.

I have two Holly bushes that never lose their green leaves. They do produce white flowers that attract bees every year for a shot time. The bees are all over them now.

A beautiful red bird was an unexpected surprise that landed in my tree. I grabbed my camera to get a picture. He flew away but not far. He perched on my neighbor’s roof and I was able to get a photo. I got a photo of a Bumble Bee on the white flowers.

I relish God’s handiwork when he decorates the earth as the seasons change. He creates a masterpiece like no other.
