Reflections from the April 2014 A to Z Challenge

This is my third year participating in the A to Z Blog Challenge but my first year reflecting on the challenge.

I’ve loved every minute of all three challenges. I went to a place I only dreamed about in the past my first year. Thus my dream came true-a writer. The first year I didn’t have a clue what I was doing. My first try at signing up was not successful but someone assisted me and I was good to go.

I’ve completed each year’s challenge. This year was a challenge to say the least. I was ill the whole month of April but I pressed through. Most days I wasn’t sure what I’d written but my mission was accomplished. Several times I was too ill to write but when I felt better I caught them up.

I think you all do a wonderful job managing the challenge. I don’t know the rules to writing so I can’t give any advice or make recommendations. I do appreciate how you can code your blog so people are aware what you are writing and they can decide whether or not your topic is what they want to read.

I enjoyed reading the blogs of the Host and Assistants. They were encouraging, helpful and entertaining. The blogs of the participants were great also. I got to observe the more experienced writers and learn from them how to become a better writer.

Thank you for your hard work, dedication and striving to make each year better than the year before. Keep pressing forward.

I will be back for next year’s challenge.

The Power in Finding You

I was browsing through my documents on my computer and found this piece of encouragement. I don’t know where it came from but I decided to share it. I hope you are as enlightened as I am.

The Power in Finding You

When you cease to be “the person you were never created or intended to be, fear will no longer continue to be what it was never empowered to be. Doubt will cease to be what it was never empowered to be.

When you take that bold action that manifests your Original Self and Original Intent, “all of the emotional death trappings of the soul” will take action and depart from your life.

Be what doubt cannot be. Be what fear has no poet to be. Be what limitation is afraid to be. When you become your Truest Self, every lie will have to disappear.

We are not living in a world of impossibilities. Everything is truly possible to them that no only believe, but participate with their belief. Believing a thing, without participating with that thing, is merely an idea with no food to drink. It cannot be strengthened. It is a weak thought.

Have unlimited faith in who you were created to be.

Allow the curiosity of Divine Discovery to navigate you through the valleys of uncertainty. Allow the Attraction of Truth, Possibility, and Oneness with God, to lead you to the awakening of an individual that has resided within you all along, who at times, spoke to you through your dreams, your passions, and even the simplest, doodling on scrap sheets of paper.

No one is obligating you to be who you were never created to be. Find Yourself. And when you do fear will find its way out of your life.
