Breaking News

N is for News

Some days it seems like there is more depressing news on television than fun shows. No matter what channel you turn to you’ll hear the same thing over and over.

There are times when it does you good to turn it off or just not turn it on. If you turn it off after you heard part of it then a rerun plays in your head. If you don’t listen at all, then you’re wondering what’s going on in the world.

I guess there’s no win, win in this. Tune in when you’re really interested and don’t when you’re not. One thing for sure is someone will probably tell you what’s happening.

Stay Tuned for Breaking News!

  1. I don’t do much news–like you said, if it’s really important, someone will let you know! I think if I have to hear one more word about Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus and Tori Spelling and Justin Bieber, et al, I may have to punch something. I know God cares about everyone, even them–but I’m not the least little bit interested in their messed up lives. I’ll tell you one program that was worth watching this past week, “Dateline”–an episode about a young man who survived the Columbine school shooting, and has since become a filmmaker, hoping to help other survivors of school shootings. No melodrama, just inspiring. Well, here I am just blathering on, and you don’t even know me….Bless your heart!

    • Starralee I agree with you 100%. Jesus did die for them but gave them a choice how they would live their lives-for Him or the Devil. I rather be a fool for Him than the devil any day. The only thing I can do for them is pray. I heard Miley and Justin were raised in a Christian home and some times kids get off track but usually find their way back. Maybe that’s the case for them. Keep looking for the good-there’s always some out there. Blessings.
