“The combination of simultaneously sounded musical notes to produce chords having a pleasing effect; the quality of forming a pleasing and consistent whole.”
Let harmony arise at the intermingling of the sound.
These ladies were preparing to bring entertainment to the Farmer’s Market on Saturday.
When I was a child the first instrument I encountered was a xylophone. It was an interesting strange-looking and sounding thing that had to be pounded with a stick that has a knob on the end. Ping, ping, plunk, plunk were the only sounds I could make. I didn’t have a clue what to do with the xylophone but I had fun banging on it.
In the years since I’ve heard beautiful music created by skilled musicians that changed what I thought about the xylophone.
When my children where little I bought them a xylophone.I went through the ping, ping, and plunk, plunk with them. I would join in with them and we made a lot of noise and had a fun doing it.
I never learned to make beautiful music on the xylophone but I had fun making plenty noise.
Have you ever had the opportunity to make beautiful music?
