A-Z Blog Challenge Beauregard

Many years ago I saw an English Bulldog and fell in love. It was many years since I had a dog which was a Great Dane.

Because I was busy with traveling and working a lot of hours I decided I would wait until I retired to get a Bulldog. Then one day I received orders from headquarters to leave my job before retirement and relocate.

Fast forward to the present time I still don’t have a dog-Bulldog. I was reminded last month that now is the right time to find my new best friend.

You might be thinking where does Beauregard come in. Well that will be the puppy’s name but he will be called Beau as a nickname.

Now I’m on a journey to find the perfect puppy for me. What I’m finding is not many bulldog puppies are born at this time, so I will stay on this journey until it’s complete.

#atozchallenge -Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee | Henry J. van Dyke

Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee is a praise song written by Henry J. van Dyke. The scripture reference is Psalm 71:23. Joyful praise

Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee,
God of glory, Lord of love;
Hearts unfold like flow’rs before Thee,
Op’ning to the sun above.
Melt the clouds of sin and sadness;
Drive the dark of doubt away;
Giver of immortal gladness,
Fill us with the light of day!
All Thy works with joy surround Thee,
Earth and heav’n reflect Thy rays,
Stars and angels sing around Thee,
Center of unbroken praise.
Field and forest, vale and mountain,
Flow’ry meadow, flashing sea,
Singing bird and flowing fountain
Call us to rejoice in Thee.
Thou art giving and forgiving,
Ever blessing, ever blest,
Wellspring of the joy of living,
Ocean depth of happy rest!
Thou our Father, Christ our Brother,
All who live in love are Thine;
Teach us how to love each other,
Lift us to the joy divine.
Mortals, join the happy chorus,
Which the morning stars began;
Father love is reigning o’er us,
Brother love binds man to man.
Ever singing, march we onward,
Victors in the midst of strife,
Joyful music leads us Sunward
In the triumph song of life.

Alphabet

As I read the weekly photo challenge about alphabets I was reminded that I recently created a wall hanger that would be a reminder to me every morning when I awakened.

The three alphabets are J O Y. For the joy of the Lord is my strength.(Nehemiah 8:10d)

I painted them red for the blood of Jesus and added a little bling because He is the King of kings. I hung them on burlap as a reminder of why He died on the rugged cross.

I took photos of my progress to the finished product that is hanging in my bedroom so I can see it first thing every morning.

Unfold – I AM Will Unfold

You have been looking for a change in your life for the better a long time. It seems like every way you turn you are met with one negative circumstance after the other. The pressure has been so intense that you wanted to lay down and die.

Don’t give up. Things are about to unfold before you in ways unimaginable.

I AM will unfold what you need.

Your provision will unfold. The desires of your heart will unfold. Divine health will unfold. Great family relationships will unfold. Job situations will unfold.

Joy will unfold. Peace will unfold. Praise will unfold.

Continue to praise your way before you see the manifestation.

Let faith prevail in the unfolding.

We’ve Got The Victory

Let the shouts of joy

Ring through the air

We’ve got the victory!

No longer timid, nervous or shy

We’re excited about our visit

With the King-The Most High.

No preparation, no protocol

No practice to be perfect

We can come as we are.

The King is in the field

We can freely come

To pour out our hearts desire

To the Magnificent One.

Let the shouts of joy

Ring through the air

We’ve got the victory!
