In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Beyond the Pale.”
When was the last time you did something completely new and out of your element? How was it? Will you do it again?
The first and last time I did something completely new and out of my element was September 2014. I made my first trip to Europe – Italy to be exact. The first week I took part in a cooking vacation in the mountains in Norcia. That time was a wonderful experience. I met great people from America and Canada. We did a lot of sight-seeing all around Norcia.
After that week I went to Rome for two days and then on to Venice for two days. Rome was a resting place after Norcia. I did take a tour on top of a bus. Venice was a dream come true. I rode in a Gondola which was something I always wanted to do. Loved riding the water taxi and taking a lot of pictures.
I enjoyed every moment of my adventure and I will do it again. The most amazing part of my trip was I went alone.

Your Life, the Book
In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Your Life, the Book.”
When I received an email about this Daily Post I started contemplating a response that was fitting. I didn’t get to post my response immediately because I’ve been packing up a four bedroom house to downsize to a two bedroom apartment.
For months I’ve been on a roller coaster ride like none I’ve experienced before. It takes a lot to prepare a house to put on the market, to keep it perfect for prospective buyers and close the deal. The house selling experience could be a book in itself.
I don’t know if I could write a book. I do know that no one but me could infuse a book about me with all the experiences and emotions that come with the years I’ve lived-past and present.
I don’t know if it would be a biography or what. I do know it would be different.
Maybe one day-one day.
