I am going on an adventure to the zoo. The last time I went to the zoo I took my grandchildren on a cold winter night.

The zoo is one of my favorite places to visit. I enjoy looking at the amazing creatures great and small that God created.

It has been six years since my last visit. I took my grandchildren on a cold, snowy winter night to the winter wonderland lighting they do for the Christmas season. In spite of the cold we had a great time—the last time I would take them before I moved away.

Thinking back to my childhood we would go to the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, IL when we visited during summer vacation. A friend and me took our daughters to the San Diego Zoo during a visit to California. That zoo was so big that we weren’t able to see all of it. I spent more time at the zoo in Columbus, OH. I had an annual pass.

I love to take pictures of the animals at the zoo and the zoo would be a great place to learn how to use my new camera.

It’s been way too long since my last visit to a zoo. I need a zoo fix.
